After a long, hard-fought campaign, Barack Obama was elected US president yesterday. I was in tears watching him give his victory speech. Eight years of the Bush nightmare are almost behind us. Now all Americans and citizens of the world need to work constructively together to decisively confront the many global problems threatening us: financial crisis, global warming, underdevelopment, war. No on Proposition 8 in California

I use Google AdSense. If you live in California, you may have noticed the anti-gay Proposition 8 people's ads between my posts. Needless to say, I have no power over which ads get placed on my blog. These ads you may see are twisting the truth in many ways but this is one of the worst: they use pics of Obama and Biden thereby suggesting that Obama supports Prop. 8. Nothing could be further from the truth: Obama even appears in commercials against Prop. 8. I myself am stronly opposed to Prop. 8. I urge all my CA readers to go vote against it.
